REVIEWS

quote Fantastic range of gluten free options, amazing food i haven’t in years because of my intolerances. Service was outstanding, the server bent over backwards for our needs. We walked in without a reservation and were greeted with open arms!

quote A little disappointed with the dim sum lunch we had in celebration of the 10th day of the lunar new year. Steamed rice rolls with shrimp, rolls itself were too thick. Steamed bean curd rolls didn't have much flavor - can tell from the rolls that it wasn't cook properly (pale) before saucing (totally different from pic in menu which was how it's suppose to look). Stir fried radish cake with XO sauce, had zero presence of the sauce. The shredded carrots and onions that were in the stir fry were still pretty crunchy. Chicken feet unfortunately not braised enough, lacks in taste too. Glutinous rice in lotus leaf was dry. Xiao long bao, har gow, tripe, pig's stomach and eggplant were ok. However, the restaurant was clean & tidy with a nice atmosphere. The staff were A+++ friendly and no fault in service. A shame as it's the chinese restaurant nearest to where we live. Purely constructive criticism.

quote Probably the best Yumcha I've had in years. The staff were friendly and professional, and the entire service was high quality. There probably could've been more vegetable options on the lunch menu, but that is a very minor point because everything we got was truly delicious! Especially happy with their red bean paste steamed buns and deep-fried sesame balls with red bean paste, they were pretty much perfect and got the textures spot on, and their pork dumplings & radish cake were also highlights. I took one star just because the tables were a little small and the covered chairs were a bit hard to move, and there was nowhere to refill our water, and there were no other drinks options I could see, but all in all they are totally minor points and comes down to personal preference. Everything was simply and appealingly presented, and this is defintely a place I'd like to come back to--thank you for a lovely lunch.

quote As a Cantonese, I am so glad to find this restaurant. Food is so good and authentic. Taste like home.Much better than Maxim. Good service! Awesome place for Yun Cha. The Cantonese roasted duck and Peking Duck is perfect.
